Adjusting Imports of Steel Into the United States

On February 10, 2025, President Donald J. Trump issued a proclamation reinstating a 25 percent ad valorem tariff on steel imports from countries previously exempted or under alternative trade agreements, including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, the EU, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, and the UK, effective March 12, 2025.
